ADOPT TELEHEALTH MONITORING SERVICES TO MINIMIZE RISK AND EXPAND REVENUE CAPTURE

50% of blood clots that occur are healthcare related, meaning they stem from a recent hospital stay or surgery, and most occur after discharge.  More people die from DVT than breast cancer, AIDS, and traffic fatalities combined.

Yet, many providers and facilities do not utilize DVT devices post-operatively, or only leverage access while in the ASC.  The fact is, most patients are at the highest risk 5-10 days post-surgery, and VTE is a leading cause of preventable death in the US.

Providers can help reduce needless re-admissions and preventable death by adopting protocols for extended use of DVT devices and develop telehealth consults to not only monitor patient progress at home, but drive revenue back into the practice.

AMG can provide options for the practice and recommend protocols for telehealth appointments.  Please inquire for more information.
